1. Scope
This agreement applies to any supplier or service provider (“Supplier”, “you”) listed on or claiming a profile on the VietConnect Platform, in addition to our Terms of Service. By submitting a listing or claiming a profile you accept these terms.
2. Accuracy of your information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and currency of all information you submit — including company details, certifications, capabilities, and product information. You must hold the rights to any content you upload and must not misrepresent your business, credentials, or compliance status.
3. How verification works
VietConnect applies automated checks and may apply manual review to information you provide. Verification badges, tiers, and trust scores reflect those checks at a point in time and are based largely on information you supply. They are signals to buyers, not a certification by VietConnect of your products, conduct, or regulatory compliance. We may re-check, downgrade, or remove a verification status at any time.
4. Certifications and compliance claims
If you submit certifications (for example ISO, FSC, or product certificates), you confirm they are genuine, valid, and yours. VietConnect’s review is a document check, not an independent audit or regulatory sign-off, and does not make you “compliant” with any regulation. You must not present a VietConnect listing as proof of regulatory compliance.
5. Dealings with buyers
Any contract you enter with a buyer is solely between you and that buyer. VietConnect is not a party to it and is not responsible for performance, payment, quality, or delivery. You must respond to inquiries honestly and must not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful conduct.
6. Suspension, removal, and takedown
We may edit, suspend, or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, the subject of a credible complaint, or in breach of these terms. You may request removal of your own listing by contacting info@tradewithviet.com; we will action it within a reasonable time, subject to records we must retain.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VietConnect is not liable for losses arising from your listing or from your dealings with buyers. You agree to be responsible for claims arising out of inaccurate information you submit or your conduct toward buyers.
