VietConnect — Bridging Vietnam to the World

Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies VietConnect uses, which require your consent, and how to control them.

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This is a working template provided for transparency and is pending review by qualified legal counsel. It is not legal advice and is not yet a binding agreement. For questions, contact us before relying on any term.

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) are small pieces of data stored in your browser. They let a site remember your session and understand how it is used. This policy explains which ones VietConnect uses and how you control them.

2. Strictly necessary

These are required for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off. They include authentication and session cookies set by our provider (Supabase) so you can stay signed in, and short-lived security data used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

3. Analytics (consent required)

We use PostHog to understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. PostHog sets cookies and uses local storage to recognise return visits and aggregate behaviour. These run only after you accept analytics in our cookie banner. If you decline, analytics stay disabled and we do not load them.

4. Managing your choice

You can accept or decline analytics from the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site’s stored data in your browser, which will prompt the banner again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies are needed for the Platform to work.

5. More information

For how we handle the data collected through these technologies, see our Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent to info@tradewithviet.com.
